Oscar was super friendly and even helped me find the nearest grocery store. I found this clean, cozy hotel on Google after a long day hiking around Monteverde and visiting waterfalls. I was too tired to keep driving back to Tamarindo, and didn't have many options, but I'm really glad I stayed here. The room was clean, felt new, and was well cared for. Just right for a short stay, or a comfortable night's rest.

I stopped here overnight on the way between La Fortuna and Monteverde, and the stay was better than I expected. The bed and bathroom were nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. Tilaran is small, so you're close to pretty much everything. I'd definitely recommend the hotel if you're staying in town.

There was shouting in the parking lot at 3:30 in the morning, so it wasn't a pleasant stay. Our first room had a toilet that wouldn't flush, and after they moved us, the shower still had no hot water and the toilet still didn't work properly. The rooms and beds are very small, and the beds are uncomfortable.

Hotel Naralit is a charming family-run hotel. The room was small, but very clean and a great price. I arrived on my motorcycle soaked in my riding gear, and the young man at the desk sorted out a room and a place to park my bike. He pointed me in the right direction for food and let me use a dryer for my wet gear. I recommend Hotel Naralit.
