The location worked perfectly for visiting beaches, national parks, coffee plantations, waterfalls, and local markets. The Wi-Fi was good, so I could get work done when needed. Terrazas de ballena has been under new ownership since 2021, and it’s amazing. The grounds, including the new buildings, are laid out beautifully, with thoughtful architecture and stunning ocean views. There are two waterfalls on the property and a lovely pool looking out toward the ocean. Most units have open-air kitchens and living rooms. Being surrounded by jungle sounds during a rainstorm from those spaces is incredible. Our bedroom had a king bed, quality bedding, and a wall of windows facing the rainforest. The bed was so comfortable. The owners were kind and attentive, and we had everything we needed, including our own washer and dryer. This place is paradise!
