Hostal Casa Grande

I've stayed here nine times and, God willing, I'll return a million more. It feels like a family place, the rooms are great and clean, and it's close to the center. The best place on planet Earth, and the best in all of Cuba.

We had a really good stay and would come back. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the casa is beautiful, with seven rooms and a rooftop restaurant and bar. Our room was spacious and very clean, with air conditioning and a fan. There are a few spots outside to chill, and you can keep drinks or food cool in the hall refrigerator. Breakfast comes with eggs, fresh fruit, bread, butter, honey, and coffee, chocolate or tea. For dinner you can choose fish or chicken, served with soup, rice, fresh vegetables and dessert.

The hosts were warm, attentive and always around when needed. The house is spotless, well cared for and has everything for a comfortable stay. It's centrally located near everything, but the area is quiet. A wonderful experience, highly recommend it.

The patio is lovely for sitting or having a meal, with lots of plants around. Service was excellent, and dinner made to order was delicious. The rooms are well furnished and cared for. The hotel is close to the center but quiet, thanks to a one-way street with little traffic. One more tip: at breakfast, order the locally grown hot chocolate along with coffee, and try coconut sauce with your meals.
