The rooms were falling apart, and there was no food, no water, or hot water. Just got back after a week, and it was the worst stay ever. The whole place was ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend going.

The hotel is nice, and the Melia Jardines employees worked really hard to make us comfortable, even though they were running out of everything.

It was the next day before we noticed that several pieces of clothing were gone. When we returned to our room, the cleaning lady hurried out without responding to our greeting and seemed very suspicious, so we immediately checked our things. Our valuables were still locked away, luckily, but the cleaning staff had taken clothes from us.

The best pizzas are made here, and the beach staff gave excellent service. We're repeat guests at Melia Jardines del Rey, and the lobby bar staff recognized us right away. They and the waitresses made our stay really enjoyable. The pool bar bartender was invaluable too, since my husband wouldn't have touched the freezing water without his drinks. Thanks as well to the entertainment team. Service is very good and cleanliness excellent. There are some supply shortages, including local rum, creams, and food variety, but the staff do their best to look after everyone.
