It’s on Cayo Largo, so what’s not to like?

The sound of the sea at night is priceless, and the sea itself is beautiful. The little beach is a bit rocky, but a five-minute walk gets you to a bigger one. Most people head to the three main beaches for their beauty. Flies and small biting insects can be quite annoying, so bring a strong lotion. The rooms are basic and the bathrooms aren’t very modern. I’d rate the resort as two stars. There are Italians around, but management is essentially Cuban, so you have to adapt. It’s the workers who make the difference and add something special to the holiday. The cuisine is average. Expecting little is the secret to enjoying Cuba to the fullest. The people are cheerful and have a dignity I’ve never seen before, despite living on very little. Leave them anything you don’t need or have left over. They’ll be eternally grateful, given their average salary is 40 euros a month.

The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and the entertainment team deserves special mention. They’re a talented, engaging group of young people who manage to do their job while staying true to their motto, "always present, but never intrusive." Congratulations to everyone! I just got back from a week here, and it was a positive experience. The property is large and very well maintained by local standards. Don’t expect a luxurious 5-star hotel, but everything was tidy, functional, and clean, from the rooms and bathrooms to the restaurant and beach. The food was more than decent, considering the island’s logistics and supply situation.

We spent a family vacation here from December 17th to 24th, 2017. The location is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly. The food was excellent, especially given the situation in Cuba and on the island. Anyone who complains about the quality or selection should first look in the mirror. This place fits what you’d expect from Cuban state facilities. The biggest surprise for me was the entertainment team, wonderfully led by Serena Nardini. They were always ready with a smile, good with small children, and put on fun, original shows. Even as someone who doesn’t like resorts or entertainment, I had a fun week full of wonderful memories. Highly recommended.

Bravo's organization was impeccable, the Italian entertainment team friendly and discreet, and the restaurant adequate. The hotels in Cayo Largo are all grouped in one area, and Bravo Villa Coral sits in the middle, with rooms in small villas. The bathrooms and fixtures could use some maintenance, but this is Cuba, and a little adjustment is enough to let you enjoy the splendid white beach and azure sea in peace.
