Mamá Carmen is one of the sweetest hosts you could meet, and she helps with whatever you need. The rooms are big and very clean, and you feel at home right away. I highly recommend staying here.

Carmen is fantastic, so sweet, and always willing to help with directions or recommendations. Casa Carmen is cute and ideally located near the capitol building and Old Havana. I’ll stay here whenever I’m back in Havana!

Carmen is focused on helping tourists and does a wonderful job assisting us so we can enjoy what Havana and Cuba have to offer. Her place is close to Havana’s main sights. Breakfast was very good, served on a pleasant balcony full of plants. The accommodation itself is simple, but the service is excellent. During my trip I also stayed in four and five star hotels, but none had Carmen’s cozy, welcoming feel.
