La Union

The rooftop concert was a highlight for me. Midweek, they set out tables in the roof service area, and Mr. Juan Carlos, the famous singer from Cienfuegos, performs with his band. His voice and music are amazing, and the nuts and beer they serve go really well with it. The hotel itself is beautiful too, with an artistic, luxurious feel and Spanish European-style architecture. The food is decent, with typical dishes.

The rooftop view was lovely, and the rooms, pool area, and drinks were all fine. The big letdown was the food. We had breakfast and dinner included, and both were horrible. Also, when we paid too much, the staff assumed the extra was a tip and didn't give us any change.

Daniel at the gym was a huge help. He let me use the Bluetooth system, and whenever I needed internet, he was there to help. Thanks, Daniel.

I won't stay here again, mostly because the rooms are incredibly noisy. The doors are cheap wood with no soundproofing, and since they face the inner courtyard, you hear everything. Staff shouted to colleagues on other floors from 6am, even though they know how noisy it is. Getting a long sleep seems unlikely. On the plus side, the hotel is modern and clean, the rooms are spacious, the bed is decent, and the location is perfect. Food and drinks are very cheap, though breakfast is so-so.
