Casa Colonial Tere

Teresa made arriving in Havana late on a weeknight after a long journey much easier. She was warm and helpful right away, and over my five days there she helped me navigate the city, find restaurants and things to see, and was simply lovely to talk with. She also booked a pension, or “casa particolar,” for me in Varadero and helped arrange transport there and anywhere else I needed. I’m very grateful for her kindness and hospitality, and hope to visit again soon.

The room was comfortable and had a balcony where I could watch everyday life in the streets of Old Havana. The house was spotless and conveniently close to the attractions. It’s a charming colonial home, and Teresa made me feel right at home. I’d stay here again if I return to Cuba.

Everything was just right, including the excellent breakfast and Teresa’s lovely dog. Teresa is incredibly kind, and the location is perfect. It’s hard to ask for more from a casa particulares in Havana.

The family made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was excellent. The casa is right in the heart of colonial Havana, an ideal spot for a stay in the city. Five-star recommendation.
