We really enjoyed staying here. The casa is in a great, honestly one of the nicest, parts of Havana. It has three separate double rooms, each with its own bathroom, so there's good privacy and it feels quiet and independent. Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of choice and genuinely excellent food. I also loved having coffee on the colonial terrace in the morning light. It was a simple moment, but one I remember. The hosts were helpful with practical advice about getting around Cuba, what to do, and how things work, without pushing anything on us. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. I can't think of much to complain about and would definitely stay again.

Breakfast at Casa Julia was a real feast, with fruit, omelets, vegetables, and meats on a lovely little terrace. Everything was so fresh, and the food was incredible. Hypolito roasts his own coffee, and Beatrice makes delicious marinades for the meats. The fresh guava and papaya juices in the morning were such a treat. They also know how to cater for gluten-free diets, which is rare and so convenient when you need it. We stayed 13 days, and this was simply the best place we've ever stayed, even though we travel a lot. The room was simply decorated and impeccably clean. Hypolito, Beatrice, and their daughter Lisebetty welcomed us with such care and generosity. They patiently explained taxis, restaurants, neighborhoods, prices, and how to exchange money. Their advice was invaluable and helped us really enjoy Havana. They are remarkable hosts, and we felt welcomed like friends from the moment we arrived. We'd return without hesitation.
