Memories Miramar Havana

I came from Canada, and this was my first trip to Cuba. The room smelled strongly of mold and had cockroaches. I filmed them and told the staff, but nothing was done. When I brought an extra guest, staff chased us to the elevator and charged me an extra $115 USD. The staff don't care about guests and weren't helpful. The food wasn't good. A small bad cocktail was $5 USD, lunch was $25 USD, and a taxi to Havana costs $20. There were no activities, and today the power went out and everything was dark. The place is falling apart and raises serious health and safety concerns. Worst vacation and hotel experience ever. I'll never stay here again. Please book somewhere else.

I loved my stay at memories. The service was amazing and super friendly. They took their time with us because of the language barrier, and came by daily to change towels and check whether we needed anything. There's full service, wifi, air conditioning, room service, three restaurants, a bar and a gift shop at the hotel, plus complimentary breakfast. The prices were unbelievable, under $10 for a delicious meal. If you like spicy food, bring hot sauce.

We spent a week here, and the hotel's location was very convenient. Everyone on staff was helpful and did their best to make us comfortable. Breakfast was included, with lots of choices, and the food was nice. Bring your own hot sauce or similar if you'd like a little spice. Toni Scharer, the hotel manager, went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. I'd recommend Memories miramar hotel if you want to see Havana.

A great location for holidays, studies, or business. The rooms are spacious and nice, and client concerns get addressed effectively. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to colleagues, family, and friends.
