Mystique Habana By Royalton

The Regis Havanna turned out to be a great choice after quite a bit of research into where to stay in Havanna. Our room was charming, spotless, and in perfect condition, and we had electricity and A/C the whole time, which isn't something you can count on in Cuba currently. The rooftop, where breakfast is served, has stunning views across Havanna. Breakfast included a good range of pastries, imported cheeses, and sausage. We could also use the pool at the nearby Royalton hotel in the same chain. Service was attentive and professional throughout, and the location puts you just steps from the old town, the capitol, and other main attractions.

We stayed for three nights and found the hotel pleasant, especially for Cuba. The first breakfast was a real surprise, with everything from high-quality jamón from Spain, but there was much less food on the following days. It isn't a five-star hotel by international standards, but we had a pleasant stay in Havana.

The staff were so kind and welcoming, and we had a great time here. The central location made it easy to walk around and explore, then come back for a rest. The bar on the first floor also serves amazing drinks, and I recommend the caiperissima! Breakfast is included, though it isn't all-inclusive. They served a great spread with eggs made to order, fruit, bread, cheese, and other Cuban foods.

This was my second stay, and I really enjoy how welcoming the hotel is. The staff are usually very attentive. The service felt a bit slow during the last two days, though, and the breakfast quality changed and wasn't to my liking.
