We were lucky to get the suite, which takes up half of the top floor. It had a comfortable room and a great patio with lovely views. This small boutique hotel is well placed on the Malecon. It’s not very old, but some details were showing wear and lacked service. Still, this is Cuba, and there aren’t always parts available to fix things. I’d definitely return.

All the rooms face the Malecon and the ocean, and the air conditioning worked really well. We left it running for one day, and the room stayed cold for three days. The hotel feels very modern, the breakfast and coktails were great, and I found it absolutely lovely. It is pretty loud, though, since it’s right on the Malecon.

We were staying in a nearby casa particular, so we came here for breakfast and to change money. The service was brilliant, and watching people along the Malecon with views of El Morro was the best. On our last morning, we saw waves crash over the wall. It’s a tiny place, though the rooms on the top floor looked great. I tried to book for our March trip, but they were full.

It costs a lot, but it’s good. The breakfast was really great, with lots of choices on the menu. You get great ocean and malecon views from rooms on the 2nd/3rd floor. The rooms start at first floor.

The sea is right across the road, so the views are good. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was OK. Nearby there are lots of run-down buildings, some with no roof, though people still live in them. It’s not a nice area at night.
