Vapor 156 Boutique Hotel

We came back to this hotel twice and felt comfortable and well cared for both times. It's a beautifully restored, distinctive place with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. The staff, food, rooftop terrace, thoughtful furnishing details, personal service, and recommendations all stood out. Nowhere else in Cuba did we feel as comfortable.

Breakfast was made from scratch every day and was delicious. The whole staff were friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Jorge, the General Manager, treated us like family, shared the hotel's history and other historical details about Cuba, and made what may be the BEST mojito you'll ever taste. This hotel is a gem. The building itself and the many well-preserved antiques on every floor make walking in feel like stepping back in time. The historic rooms are beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and air conditioned. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

The rooftop is a lovely spot with a nice view, and the staff were helpful arranging a taxi to the airport. In central Havana, this is a nice hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast. The rooms have a cozy, old-fashioned style, and the room, bath, and toilet were clean and tidy. The air conditioning was good.

A wonderful hotel just a few miles from the city's tourist areas. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, and always happy to chat. Thanks to Lia, Andi, Diego, Jojo, Jorge and the rest of the team. We'll be back.
