Wi-Fi in the room was a real plus. At some hotels you have to stay near reception to get online, so having it in the room was very pleasant. It's a very quiet hotel in the heart of the Cuban countryside, with original little cottages. Even with the gloomy weather, we got to enjoy the swimming pool. Meals are buffet style, though there are people cooking pieces of meat.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are professional, friendly, and great at what they do. It's a quiet spot out in the countryside, good for relaxing and being close to nature. The food selection is small, but the quality is good, and the restaurant specializes in Cuban Creole food. You can find cheaper rates through the city tourism offices than the prices online. I'd recommend the hotel to a friend.

I spent four nights here in February 2023. The staff were friendly, and it's a nice-looking place, but it needs a lot of money spent on renovations. Some rooms were small and had strong damp smells, and construction was going on. The pool bar prices felt too high for the quality in this village, and the restaurant buffet was a joke. I don't recommend staying here. Santa Clara city is a joke too.

We stopped by for lunch, and the food was really good. There were peacocks wandering around when we arrived, plus some horses and lovely flowers. A nice little spot.
