Villa Don Lino

The only thing my parents liked was the sunshine. The rest of the stay sounds rough. The resort is very old and needs updates throughout, from the furniture and lighting to the floors, walls, and bathrooms. Construction for new units goes on constantly, with loud work starting at 6am every day. A washroom renovation beside the bar had already dragged on for two weeks without any improvement. Loud music from the bar and the neighboring local resort kept them awake at night. The food barely changed from day to day, mostly bland pasta and rice, and they were tired of it after a week. Drinks were limited to cola and Sprite, and the water was supposedly filtered. Staff kept asking for tips. Around the grounds, locals leave garbage, while cows, horses, and wild dogs leave droppings, even on the sidewalks. The paths are uneven and unlit at night, so it's easy to twist an ankle. The beach has sharp dead coral and sea urchins throughout the water. And if you want excursions, this resort has no connections for arranging them.
