Martirena's Hostal

The hosts went out of their way to give us local tips and arrange taxis. Their home has lovely little touches, including shampoo, which I haven't found in any other casa. The owner is a wonderful cartoonist, and his work adds a lot to an already lovely home. Breakfast was beautiful too. This was the best casa I've stayed in in Cuba. It's very central but still quiet, and the hosts were so accommodating.

The hosts live next door and were very welcoming, attentive, and full of helpful advice about exploring Santa Clara and the region. We had a generous, very good breakfast, and the location was perfect. We stayed one night in this casa particular and didn't regret it. It's a small apartment with an entrance, bedroom, and all the amenities. Modern touches include air conditioning and a fan. The bed was very comfortable, the best we had in Cuba. Don't hesitate, it's excellent value for money.

Niury and Alfonso made us feel at home right away. Their warmth and hospitality were clear from the welcome, and I loved the coffee they served us. The BNB was private and clean, and the house is close to the city center. Breakfasts were generous, with delicious juices and plenty of variety. Dinner was fantastic too, both the food and the setting in the interior courtyard. I highly recommend staying here in Santa Clara. See you soon!
