The house and rooms were very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We got a warm welcome, and the host spoke English very well and looked after us. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, or a taxi costs 3 CUC. One of the best Casa Particular we visited, and we highly recommend it.
Alcolea Family Home is near the Cardiovascular Hospital and Revolution Square, and the rooms are spotless, airy, and well equipped. Some have air conditioning and a private bathroom. The Alcolea family made us feel at home with their warmth, respect, and personal attention. It’s a lovely way to experience local life and the traditional feel of Santiago homes. Staying with the Alcolea family was one of the best choices of my trip. It felt like a life experience, not just a place to sleep. I’m grateful they shared so much of their culture and history with me, and I’ll be back.
The hosts were so friendly and wonderful. I had a beautiful private room with a terrace, bathroom, and kitchenette of its own. It’s quiet and well located, with the town center an easy walk away. Couldn’t be better!
