The shady, spacious terrace was a lovely place to have breakfast, with fresh fruit juice and strong Cuban coffee. This was my second stay at Casa Confort, and it really does feel like an oasis in Santiago de Cuba. Manuel is a warm, kind host who speaks excellent English. He can help with transport, suggest things to do in Santiago, and arrange day trips or longer stays at nearby beaches. The house is on a quiet street, so I slept well, while all the main sights were within a 20-minute walk. My room was spotless and well equipped, with air conditioning, strong fans, good lighting, a large, comfortable bed, and reliable Wi-Fi. I'm already looking forward to coming back to Santiago de Cuba and staying at Casa Confort again.
