Meliá Trinidad Península

This was my second visit in four months, and once again I’m leaving happy. The atmosphere is amazing, the tourists are friendly and easy to connect with, and the rooms are always beautifully cleaned. I’ve never had a problem. Thank you to everyone at MELIA, from the bartenders, cleaning team, client services, kitchen staff, managers, dancers, and band. Everyone is welcoming, energetic, and consistently provides excellent service. Rafael, Geraldo, Yovany, thank you for always accommodating our needs. Ernesto, Oresvio, Raffy, Rey, Juan Carlo, Yami, Yosvany, Julia, Javier, and the rest of the bar crew, thanks for the great drinks and outstanding service. And thank you to the dance crew for letting me celebrate and dance my heart out on my birthday. It really was the best birthday vacation. Thank you, MELIA. See you again soon.

The snorkeling was a lot of fun, and we had a great time celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday here. The resort is new and very quiet. Juan and Ivan were always smiling and happy to help, and never turned down a request. The cooks, servers, and cleaning staff were all great too. If you're heading to Cuba, I'd definitely recommend Melia Trinidad. All the best to the team, and keep up the great service.

Claudia and Raphael made breakfast and lunch especially fun. They were accommodating and took great care of us. We spent a week here, and the service was amazing. Our room was clean and had a really nice view of the beach.

For a beach-focused trip, this may not be the right resort: the beach is close by, but very rocky. The roads from the airport are bumpy, and the drive takes about 1.5 hours. Bring water shoes, and some treats for the local cats. The pools, pleasant weather, and gorgeous sunsets are a real draw. There are plenty of pools, bars, a buffet, and a snack bar. Three restaurants take reservations; the servers there are nice, though the food doesn't always match its description. The adults-only Level area was exceptional, with its own concierge, private restaurant, bar, and pools. Service there was amazing, with great attention to detail. Ivan, the food and beverage manager, seemed on top of everything. I saw him checking in at all the different locations, and he came by daily to ask whether I was satisfied or needed anything. 10/10 for Ivan. Juan, who I believe is the GM, also seemed truly hands on.
