We kept stopping by in the mornings for coffee and cake. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Italian coffee was good, with a nice choice of fresh cakes. We also had dinner once and really enjoyed it. The painted walls and tables were lovely too.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast and the restaurant food were both great. From the booking right through checkout, Mirko, Matia, and the team made my family and me feel at home, with helpful tips along the way. Great place and people. Highly recommend!

We even rented a car from them for a day, which was quick and easy to arrange. The owners and staff were wonderful when a canceled flight meant we had to stay an extra day during high season, and they made things work for us. The mattress was good, and the AirCon was a welcome relief after long, hot days exploring the island. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner there was absolutely wonderful too. If you're coming to Maio, stay at Big Game Maio. Five stars.

We took a quad bike around the island for the day. Partway through, it had a small problem with the axis, but they came out and fixed it quickly and took great care of us. Really nice people and service!
