Our room was spacious and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable, though I could feel the mattress springs. Breakfast was simple and typical for the area: white bread, jam, egg, juice, and coffee, sometimes with yogurt or a piece of fruit. The price-quality ratio felt fair.

The staff were very friendly and spoke English. I asked them about getting around the island, and they helped a lot. Breakfast is small and simple, made when you arrive and as fresh as possible. It was a little different the next morning, which was nice. The room had a hairdryer and enough soap and shower gel, which isn't always the case in Cape Verde. There's a refrigerator, and they lent me an iron when I asked. The location is good, near the city center, cafes, and the beach. My bed felt a little hard, and I wish breakfast could start earlier than 8:00.

Only a minute from a supermarket and five minutes from Laginha beach, the location is wonderful. The rooms are clean and airy, with A/C and plenty of hot water. Breakfast kept me full until evening.

The welcome was friendly, the rooms were okay, and the bathrooms very modern. We enjoyed the terrace view, and they packed breakfast for us when we had to catch an early morning boat. Our room faced the road and was noisy, with lots of traffic. The fan didn't work properly, so there was no air. It's not the nicest area of Mindelo. Fair value if you need a place for one night in Mindelo.
