The market, a bank, shared alguer taxis, and a great restaurant just one street away make the location very handy. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and the family who own it live next door. They expected me at the time I’d given, but were around to help in any case. Their son Moacyr was great with travel tips and even sorted out a taxi for a ridiculously early airport trip. I’d happily stay again.

I wouldn’t recommend booking this. We reserved through Booking.com and tried to confirm the check-in arrangements two weeks before we were due to arrive, including the precise address and the name of the person checking in. Neither Booking nor WhatsApp got back to us. Technical support didn’t reply either, so we had to find somewhere else.

Moacyr was attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. The apartment itself was spotless, very roomy, and had all the equipment we needed. Its location is superb. We had a fantastic stay and I’d gladly come back. Highly recommend.

The host was so welcoming and available, and helped us with everything, including arranging a taxi from the airport into town and showing us around. We found the apartment comfortable and well furnished, with everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable too. It’s right in the heart of Praia. We had a fantastic stay and absolutely recommend it.

A market and shared taxis for Tarrafal or Cidade Velha are only a two-minute walk away, and Plateau is a few minutes up the stairs or a short taxi ride. The room and bathroom were very clean, and there’s a kitchen plus a minibar at reasonable prices. We felt comfortable there. Moacyr lives next door with his family and was kind, helpful, and quick to answer our questions.
