Happy Day Hotel

Our flight was cancelled, and despite the lack of communication, the staff took care of us. They were waiting at the airport, though we had to look around and ask to find them, then drove us to happy hotel. It was very late, but they still made dinner for us, gave us a nice room, and a few hours later woke us personally and drove us back to the airport. We're very happy and grateful. I don't understand the bad reviews; you can focus on what's there or what's missing. Thank you happy hotel

The room was modern and spacious, with a balcony and a comfortable bed. The staff were so kind and helpful: they provided three meals and even called our room to say when each meal was ready. I was put up here for one night by the airline's handling agent after a flight cancellation. The hotel is among buildings and a university, so you'll need a bus or taxi to reach the beach or town. A huge thank you to the team for all the effort they made to accommodate a whole group of passengers from the cancelled flight.

The staff were just okay given the resources they had, but the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a construction site with nothing else nearby. The building is falling apart. I went onto the rooftop, fell through it, and injured my leg. They still tried to charge me. The food was terrible and overpriced. This is a one-star property!

The rooms were reasonably priced, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the included breakfast was great. I took a point off because the elevator didn't always work and the hallway lights switched off automatically. It gets very dark at night.
