There were exposed electrical outlets, and the walls were covered in mold. It was hard to breathe, and the place felt bad for your health. It wasn’t clean either: cockroaches, ants, and termites came out of the furniture. There were lots of mosquitoes and no protection against them. Water drained very slowly from the shower, which felt disgusting on vacation. The owner lies about Wi-Fi: the website says it’s available, which could make you think it’s free, but it isn’t, and the connection is very poor. The owner is so greedy that if you leave early, you won’t get the money you paid for the rest of your stay back.

A bar was the one thing I missed. The place itself was very nice and clean, calm and quiet, but only a short walk from the busy streets.

We had a lovely ocean view, and the apartment was a good size and nice and clean. The location was great too.
