We had lost contact with a suitable hotel and were only two days from our holiday when I explained this to the owner. They then contacted a hotel to try to help us. Earlier, I'd asked whether their own place was wheelchair accessible. They replied and pointed out the gravel road leading to the property, which showed an understanding I really appreciated. They also took time to suggest three different hotels in Santa Maria. A very good person who went above and beyond for someone they knew wouldn't be staying there. I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you.

On the eastern edge of Santa Maria, this is a very nice place to stay. The apartments are nice, with A/C and a pool, and the staff are very nice. The beach and watersports are 200 metres away. I'll be back.

I booked it for 10 days, but luckily went to see it first and cancelled that same day. The agency says “there is no construction site and that the house is fully finished.” Sure 😂

We ended up having a great week at Joli Beach House. Noise at our original apartment caused some trouble, so we needed somewhere at short notice, and the staff did everything they could to make the stay possible. We really liked the property and how close it was to the ocean. There was a nice beach bar and restaurant nearby, much nicer than the ones in the centre of Santa Maria. Props to the thoughtful, lovely staff!

The Joli Beach House apartment was spacious and comfortable, well equipped, clean and in excellent condition. It feels very new. The team stayed attentive and available throughout our visit, providing excellent support whenever we needed it. We had a really good stay and I recommend these apartments.
