Doris was always on hand and full of useful recommendations. She speaks at least English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently. We were travelling with a child, and she was very willing to adapt the traditional Cape Verdean breakfast to suit special needs. The cleaning is done with great care. The hotel is also ideally placed, just two minutes from the central square and bus station, with plenty of good local restaurants nearby.

The location in Ponta do Sol was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We loved the amazing breakfast, and Dóris deserves a special thank-you for arranging a taxi for our excursion. Everything went smoothly. When the water was temporarily unavailable, the team responded quickly and sorted out a solution. Miranda & Miranda made our time on Santo Antão even better, and we'd gladly stay again.

We've stayed here twice and will definitely be back. It's peaceful around the hotel, but still within walking distance of central Ponta do Sol and its restaurants. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and breakfast is a good traditional Cape Verdean spread. It's especially good for couples with kids, since they're the only ones with family rooms split into two separate rooms.

The staff were incredibly friendly and kept making an effort to make sure guests were happy. It's one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in, and a great way to experience Cape Verdean hospitality.

Miranda& Miranda was our favourite place to stay on our trip around the Cabo Verde islands. The bed and breakfast were both exceptionally good, and the manager was kind and helpful. A clear recommendation from us.
