The rooftop terrace looks out over the sea, sports field, and mountains, and the family atmosphere made this a place I'd definitely return to. The people were lovely and always ready to help. Breakfast was extensive, the room was spacious and had a refrigerator, and the mattress and pillows were good. It was cleaned daily, with fresh sheets after three nights, and the towels smelled sweet. The location is handy for hiking: Aluguers leave from right outside the guesthouse or by the bridge, depending on your route. There are restaurants nearby and shops at the bottom of the building. Highly recommended, and good value too!

They are such an attentive family! We were very comfortable, and Arlindo kindly took us around the island as our taxi driver. Everyone was lovely and always concerned with making us happy. The lady is a wonderful cook. It's really worth eating at the restaurant!

We had dinner at the restaurant on both evenings, and breakfast was included and very generous. The rooms open onto a sea-view terrace, with a small pool that's really pleasant after a hike. Everything was very clean, though the place seemed to have opened only recently. It's well located for exploring around Paúl, including the start and finish of hikes, with taxis and banks nearby. The staff are accommodating, but communication can be limited if you don't speak Portuguese.

The room has lovely views and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had hot water, the Wi-Fi was good, and breakfast was generous.
