Bamboo Xaguate Hotel

You can walk into town from this practical hotel. The rooms have plenty of space and big balconies, plus a warm shower and a lovely pool with a gorgeous ocean view. Breakfast is simple, and the room floors need a proper clean.

The location is great and the pool is pleasant, but the hotel and its facilities really need updating. The bathrooms used by our group were dirty, and breakfast was very basic. With the right management attitude, this place has a lot of potential.

The ocean views and sunsets were amazing, and the hotel has a lovely mix of simplicity and charm. The employees were so friendly and accommodating, and the service was fantastic.

The food is great, and it didn’t take long to come. If you’re by the pool or in your room, tell them ahead what you want. Things move slowly on the island, which gives the place a peaceful feel. The downside is that people from outside the culture don’t get to experience it, even though the hotel is so nice. Their system is out of date. They tried to charge me twice for a room I’d already paid for through Expedia. One man at the front desk was arrogant, rude, and talked down to me. I watched how he treated white guests, and it seemed to me that colorism still exists in CV.
