I felt at home in this spacious, wonderful hostel. The location is ideal, right in the center where the Alugers depart and stop, and just a short walk from the beautiful beach. There’s everything you might need: two fully equipped kitchens, two bathrooms and a dreamy dorm with large, super comfortable beds. The balcony overlooks the town and is lovely in the morning light or with the evening breeze. Everything is tidy and spotless. Kaida is what makes the place special. She’s sweet and strong, with a contagious smile and such a welcoming spirit. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The owners were outgoing, and the other guests I met were easy to get along with. The basics are covered: a solid bed and a hot shower. WiFi could be better.

The breakfast at the open market next door was great, and the owner was very friendly. I spent two nights at the Meeting Point Hostel in Tarafal and had a happy stay. You can barely spot the entrance from the street, but inside it's spacious, clean, and welcoming. The lobby, kitchen, and bathrooms with hot water are simple and just right for a hostel. Staff were helpful too. I'd definitely recommend it if you're visiting beautiful Tarafal.
