Bohemi Villas

Our group of eight had plenty of room to gather in the living area, especially around the big dining table. The rooms were lovely and had outdoor showers, and the kids were happy at the pool and watching the birds each day. It was a relief to find the resort looked just like the listing when we arrived. We didn’t make it to the on-site restaurant, so maybe we’ll get to try it next time. We were really glad we found this place, and felt it was worth every penny.

Bohemi resort is peaceful, clean, and well cared for, with beautiful architecture. Its central position on the island means the nice beaches are only a short distance away. The staff were attentive and helped us work through the late checkout issue, which made the holiday memorable. We’re planning to return to Bohemi resort.

We loved how quiet and secluded it was, and that it felt nothing like an all-inclusive resort. You do need a car to get around. Two beaches are about five minutes away, and a few local places to eat are within ten. There’s also an incredible gourmet restaurant on site, though you need to reserve ahead. Lots of sights are within a half-hour drive, and iguanas are everywhere. This kind of place won’t suit everyone, but it was just right for us.

At around 22:15 or 22:30, we stopped before reception, nowhere near the apartments, and an aggressive, rude man told us to leave because of the motorcycles we had arrived on. He said he was the owner’s brother. He wouldn’t let us explain at first that most of our group were guests staying for a wedding and that we were the bridal party. Even after he heard that, he kept being rude.
