The location was perfect for diving at west pundt, with Gowest divers at most a two-minute walk away on mostly flat ground. I loved the porch, and Abraham and his son were great to rent from, easy to communicate and work with. The price seemed reasonable, I guess, though the apartment still felt like a budget room. For what we needed, nothing was really wrong for the price or location, but because it was a higher-priced room labeled deluxe, I expected more. It was a one-bedroom deluxe, but there wasn't much deluxe about it. It needs some updating to match that label. With a little work, this place could be incredible. For the location and vacation, it needs a bit more to rate 4 or 5 stars for the price. The living room A/C was replaced in our apartment and others while we were there, and the stove seemed fairly new, which was great. The sofa looked and felt very worn out. The sheets were worn and visibly pilling, or however you spell that. The two skillets were scratched past the point of being useful for eggs, and I don't think Teflon is healthy to eat when damaged that badly. The only pitcher was cracked. Some oil, salt, and pepper for the kitchenette would help.

Hendricks, the owner, was great and very accommodating about my medical issues. The apartment was roomy and sufficient, though it could use a little updating. The location is absolutely the best for that end of the island, just steps from one of the nicest beaches. There's also a nice beach club on the hillside of kilki beach. When the beach was crowded, the breezy little pool area was a good place to retreat. Thanks for a great stay, and take that cruise with your wife...

The bed was so firm it left me uncomfortable every morning, which kept this from being a five-star stay for me. Still, I'm delighted I chose this place for a few nights exploring the island's western edge. Our unit had stunning ocean and mountain views, lovely furnishings, a spacious interior, a well-equipped kitchen, cozy living and dining space, a commodious bedroom, and a breezy balcony. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was tranquil and soothing. The pool area was charming and added to the appeal. It's only a minute's walk from the beach, and a great choice for accommodation in Sabana Westpunt. There was still construction going on, though, and litter made the area look unsightly.

The room at Nos Krusero Apartments had everything I needed to be comfortable, and I could see the ocean from my balcony. Tariq, his father, and all the staff were kind and friendly. The area felt peaceful and safe, with lots of welcoming locals. I enjoyed my stay very much, highly recommend booking here, and look forward to visiting again.

We stayed in the third-floor deluxe ocean-view room. The very positive reviews of Nos Krusero (NK) gave us unrealistic expectations, so here's a more balanced take. I might stay again now that I know what to expect, if I wanted a quiet, low-key small-town vacation. NK is near diving, restaurants, and beaches, and the property's landscaping was really pretty. The balcony was huge, with views of flowering plants, the sea, and sunsets. There was a separate gate to reach it without going through the room, handy for wet gear, plus a drying rack. The high ceilings, beams, and panels looked lovely. We didn't use the pool because we prefer the sea, but it looked clean and pretty, with beautiful landscaping around it. It was a little smaller than I expected, but I liked seeing it as we came and went. It's always very windy there, so loud it sounded like a hurricane inside the apartment. NK can't control the wind, but it made the door rattle badly. We wedged a rolled-up plastic bag in it to quiet it. There's no inside doorknob, just a bent wire hook and deadbolt. A combination lockbox outside meant we could leave the key there and not worry about losing it in the sea. Weatherstripping would help stop the rattling. The small sofa was hard and uncomfortable. We put bed pillows on it, but its sections make it hard to lie down on, and although it's advertised as another bed, I can only imagine a small child sleeping there. The TV sits high on a shelf and might be better lower, though it was nice to have streaming services. Our first night was rough: we arrived late to find the AC off, and it was too hot to sleep. The following nights were okay when we kept the bedroom cool. AC in the living room costs extra. The sheets for the first half of our stay were loud and rustly, felt plasticky, and with the plastic mattress cover made sleeping hot. We removed the cover before the second night, which helped somewhat. Halfway through, the room was cleaned very well and the sheets were changed. The second set was much softer and quieter, and I wish we'd had those throughout. The bed's firmness suited me but was too much for my boyfriend, so it's hard to please everyone. Sometimes there was a bad plumbing smell. Black stains at the shower's bottom corners made it look dirty, and the lightweight curtain was hard to keep inside the shower, so water got onto the floor. The shower itself was very spacious. Shelves for soap and more bathroom hooks or hanging bars would help. We had four towels total that could be swapped for clean ones, plus a floor mat. I would have liked extra towels, washcloths, and hand towels. The kitchen was decently stocked, but the gas stove had to be lit with a match. The plates didn't fit in the microwave, and I don't think they're microwave-safe anyway. Tiny bugs were crawling on the counter and table. The grocery store, not a mini market, is 20-25 minutes away, Willemstad is a 45-minute drive, and a gas station is 15 minutes away. Playa Kalki is lovely, busy with people during the day and empty after 5pm. If you want nightlife, don't stay in Westpunt; everything closes around 5pm. Several good restaurants are nearby, but reservations are best. On weekdays, I think only Cactus Cafe, our favorite, and Blue View were open after 6:30pm. You may end up cooking on weeknights, so plan for the distant grocery store. More towels and softer sheets for the full stay, better door seals, and a more comfortable sofa would've improved our visit.
