Bantopa Apartments and Villas

Bantopa Apartments & Villas is in a beautiful, peaceful spot, right near the middle of the island. With a rental car, you can explore pretty much the whole island from there. Ed, the owner, was especially welcoming and quick to help whenever we needed anything. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it!

The garden is beautifully kept and full of birds, butterflies, and other life, while the pool is lovely, clean, and great for a cool-down or a bit of relaxing. My partner and I spent a week here, and Ed made us feel welcome. He's friendly and replies quickly if you text him. Our middle apartment had fantastic views of the neighborhood and city. It's spacious and clean, and the air conditioning works well. Ban Topa is in a quiet, breezy spot, but it's easy to drive into town or get to one of the beautiful beaches. Highly recommended if you're looking to stay centrally on the island.

The location is superb, in a quiet residential area about 15 minutes from Willemstad and a few minutes from beaches such as Blue Bay Beach or Playa Porto Marie. We'd happily come back. The apartments are spacious, clean, and furnished in a tasteful modern style. The outdoor rain shower is the best part, and the pool area is lovely. Guests can use the communal gas grill, and for a small fee there's a washing machine. Ed is a fantastic host, always reachable on WhatsApp and helpful with tips and contact details. He suggested some great local restaurants, especially Diverze Sauzen and The Nuff Hats. We thought the separate water and electricity charges were fair. Otherwise, some people would probably leave the A/C running all day. Paying separately makes you think about using energy sparingly, which makes sense since resources are scarce on the island.
