The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

We loved every moment of our stay. Our room had a walkout patio facing the pools, with the ocean horizon behind them, and the place sits on a gorgeous piece of land joined to the mainland by a bridge. From there, a beautiful white-sand private beach stretches along a narrow channel of turquoise water, sheltered from the open ocean’s waves. The faculty were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Nearby restaurants served delicious food with great service too. The location was absolutely pristine.

We had a spacious suite looking out over the pool and ocean, with a full kitchen and dining space inside and on the balcony. The beach was clean and had enough room, even if it wasn’t huge. Our room was cleaned every day except Sunday, and they did a great job. Staff explained what was available and stayed on top of things throughout. The resort and its people were amazing. This place is a must!!!

Alejandra was always smiling and really stood out, and everyone else was friendly too. We’ll definitely come back. The resort felt secure, and its location was hard to beat: close to everything but still peaceful. Our room was modern-looking, spacious, clean, and well cared for. Every morning we woke up to incredible ocean views. It was perfect all around!!!

We snorkelled right off the beach and filmed so many beautiful fish, including one baby barracuda. The resort’s own beach was quiet and private, which we loved coming back to after the excitement at nearby Mambo Beach. A free shuttle also runs to the grocery store and into Punda, about 15 minutes from the swinging bridge. The staff at the front desk and security made my mother and me feel at home when we stayed over Christmas. I’d asked in advance for a welcome basket for her, and they put together a lovely one with fruit, wine, and chocolate, plus a printed card with my message and our picture. Very nicely done! Our junior suite had an ocean view that was breathtaking each morning, and there was plenty of space. The closets were huge, and it had both a bath and a shower. We also had a small fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and utensils, plates, cups, and glasses. We can’t wait to return next year. Staying here and meeting these lovely people was an absolute delight!
