The outdoor pool had a great setup. We reserved a lounger on our first day and kept it for the holiday, with staff escorting us to it and bringing towels and water each time. They checked if we wanted drinks, or we could order from a menu. The pool isn’t heated, but once in, it was fine. There was lots of room and lovely scenery. The indoor pool was the one thing I wasn’t keen on: it was supposed to be heated to 28 degrees, but didn’t feel that warm. The steam room and sauna were very strong, though you could turn them down. The spa itself was very nice. We stayed ten nights and had nothing to complain about. The room was amazing, clean, regularly maintained and stocked, and staff often checked in during the evening to see if we needed anything. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. When we asked to change the bedding at around 7pm, staff came straight away. Breakfast was the best I’ve had, with lots of tasty options including smoked salmon, fruit, cereal and pancakes, plus a menu you could order from instead of the buffet. Service was very fast, with drinks orders taken at the table soon after we sat down. I also saw the manager helping staff when it was busy, which was nice to see. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the main strip, far enough away for some peace, and there are nice restaurants nearby, including Sage, Liquid, Quadro, En Yevo. We found a hire car useful for exploring Ayia Napa and Protoras, visiting different beaches and scenery. Without one, some busses can take a while to come. I’ve seen some low rated reviews and don’t really understand them. Next time we come to Ayia Napa, we’ll stay here again. I can’t see another hotel in the area offering more.
Getting around was easy from this central spot, with public transport nearby. We rented a bike for €10 per day and visited beaches and places such as the sculpture park and the museum nearby. The buffet changed its theme daily and offered a very good choice, while the three à la carte restaurants had excellent food, ambience, and service. I was upgraded to a beautiful, modern room with a pool view, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help, and everything was spotless, luxurious, and well maintained. I had a memorable, comfortable stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in a convenient location.
Olga at reception was lovely. We arrived very early, knowing check-in wasn’t until 14:00, but she had our beautiful room ready by 8:00, which let us start the vacation right away. I’d never had a permanent pool bed reserved for me as part of check-in before, and it meant we didn’t have to worry about finding one. You can also change the mattress on the bed. We did, and it was incredible. Michael at the pool was fantastic too, always there with a big smile whenever we needed something. A couple of little things could be better, though I’m being a bit petty 😅. Breakfast service was too slow for me. Coffee should be brought to the table within ten minutes, in my opinion. Also, when we ordered food from Bolt, the desk wouldn’t let the delivery man come up to our room or even wait in the lobby. He had to wait outside, which was unpleasant. I’d gladly come back and can’t wait for our next vacation in Amanti Hotel 🩷.
Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had lots to choose from. The rooftop Asian restaurant is worth booking in advance too, the food is incredible and the views are stunning. We spent hours unwinding by the fountains in the amazing pool, which was so refreshing. Our room was very comfy, clean, and had everything we needed and more. The hotel is conveniently close to the city center, with good restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby. Staff were always friendly and ready to answer questions with a smile. We had an unforgettable stay at Amanti and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend it.
The room itself was fine, but we were still waiting for it to be ready after arriving past 2pm. The hotel looks pretty, like its sister Amavi in Paphos, but the layout is awful. There’s no good view, and half the loungers look out at neither the pool nor the garden. It’s very long, and from some loungers the view is just those self-catering apartments, not the pool. The pools were freezing. They don’t want to pay to heat them, and when asked, they’ll lie about it. We didn’t see a single person get in. The gym and indoor pool are under the entrance ramp with no sunlight, just grim. Breakfast was awful, the eggs were bad, and the selection wasn’t good for a hotel like this. They advertise multiple restaurants as open but just rotate them, so you can’t get a booking even as a guest. It seems they make one place look fully booked by ensuring everyone books one restaurant, which feels like false advertising. We didn’t eat at the hotel at all. Management also assumed we were married and referred to me as Mrs. Both assumptions were wrong and outdated, and the staff seemed alarmed that two men were sharing a room. That’s unacceptable, and staff need better training for Western European guests. We had a tremendous time at Amavi Paphos, but this stay was a genuine waste of money. The views and facilities were poor, and it felt like a try-hard rip where you don’t want to spend a penny. We won’t spend our money with this brand again.
