Eleana Hotel

Sound carries terribly here. I could hear every word from next door, even from two rooms away, and the clubs' music was clearly audible despite being about a 15-minute walk away. If you're a light sleeper, stay away.

The food had a good range, and the kitchen team handled my intolerance helpfully and professionally. At every dinner a chef guided me through what I could and couldn't eat, and seemed to know about most allergies. I was there in July-August 2025. Breakfast included English options as well as continental, like bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans, cheese and yoghurt. My photos show both breakfast and lunch/dinner. The pool was very nice, though busy, and the staff were helpful. I had no problems with them. I've read some reviews about the staff, but maybe if you act like a russian you get treated like a russian? It's a three-star hotel, and I don't think it reaches four, though perhaps 3+. One thing I didn't like was the TV, which had few international channels. I won't dwell on negatives, though. There's a supermarket with good prices and staff about 500 meters away, the second one you come to at the corner, not the first. A nice sandy beach is a 1 km walk away: turn left for about 500 meters, then go straight down another 500. Thanks for the 2025 stay. It wasn't bad.

The price is good for the location, and breakfast was good too. We were on the 0 floor by the pool, where the room was very humid. The floor stayed wet, even the toilet paper got damp, so I'd recommend a higher floor. There was a beep for a few seconds whenever we entered or left the room, and I don't know what was wrong. My hair also got caught in the hair dryer, and we had to cut it.

The room itself was decent, and everything else was fine, but I expected more. The staff didn't seem especially welcoming, and there was trash left in the closet from the previous guests. That really made the cleaning seem poor.
