The pool staff were the exception, but most of the other employees seemed rude and arrogant. In our room, the water swung from hot to ice-cold every couple of minutes. The balcony was too small to dry towels or swimwear, which was inconvenient at a beach hotel. Dinner was bland, lukewarm, and short on choices; breakfast was only acceptable. The outlets also seemed underpowered. Charging devices took ages, and my hair straightener wouldn’t work. Construction right beside the pool and beach meant constant drilling and sawing, so relaxing was nearly impossible. On Saturday they started removing the sunbeds around 3 PM, and by 4 PM the noise and discomfort had us leaving. It wasn’t a restful stay. After I shared my concerns, the hotel manager came to speak with me about improvements. She was professional and seemed genuinely willing to take the feedback seriously. I appreciate her effort, and hope future guests benefit from the changes.

We originally booked five days and ended up staying three weeks. The location and hotel were great, the food was wonderful, and the staff were the kindest and most helpful. The manager was thoughtful and checked whether we needed anything. The kitchen team were fantastic, especially the women at breakfast. I admired them so much that I bought them all a gift before flying back to the UK. I’d recommend it to couples and families with kids. Don’t think twice about booking, you won’t regret it.

A casino security guard called Bulent sexually harassed me. He asked for my phone number and invited me to his home. I’m straight. After I somehow said no to his dirty offers and ignored him, he stopped me from entering the casino, even though I’d been going in without trouble before he approached me. He shouldn’t be working here.

If you don’t smoke, don’t stay here. The customer service was very bad, and the food quality wasn’t good. It wasn’t typical Turkish food, and they couldn’t even cook an omelet properly in the morning. There are no restaurants or shopping areas nearby. Going to Girne and this hotel was a complete waste of time and money, and I’d never return.
