Electra Beach Holiday Village

The staff and service were AMAZING. Everyone was friendly, and they put on different games and activities in the evenings. The location is great, though not the best. The hotel is by the beach, but there's no clear view of the sea or beach, and sometimes no view at all. The rooms are rather small given how much space they could have used. I'd recommend it for families, as it's definitely a great resort for a holiday with kids.

The staff were very nice, and the children's entertainer kept the kids from getting bored during the day. The rooms were okay if you don't mind ants, and our sheets and towels still hadn't been changed after four days. We shouldn't have to ask for clean ones. The food was appalling, so we had to eat out. It was poor quality and cold as soon as it came out. Disgusting.

The only thing going for this place is that Nissi beach is within walking distance. I wouldn't recommend it, and this will be my last trip here. The food tasted awful. Most of it was tasteless junk served at room temperature, and spring rolls were the only edible thing. Dessert was a choice between dry cake that tasted old or iced water, milk and flavour syrup in a cup. The dining room looked outdated and unpleasant, and didn't seem sanitary. The WC was yellow-stained and the taps were corroded. Despite all-inclusive, towels cost extra. The tap water wasn't drinkable, and the hotel didn't provide bottled water. The receptionist said to either take water in cups from the bar or buy it from the supermarket. There was only one card per room, and it had to stay in the slot for the electricity to work. Other cards wouldn't work in the slot.

The food was okay to good, with the same items you find at most hotels. The evening shows were good, especially the parrot show and fire throwers. The hotel is right on the beach where the MUSAN underwater museum is located, and it's a must to visit. The rooms were lovely and clean, with very cool A/C, and the two-floor layout was nice. The main pool is spacious, and the waterpark is perfect for kids. It's the first hotel I've visited with a wave machine, and they really make full use of it.
