I picked this property for my birthday, but regretted it deeply after the first hour. To me, the main problem was poor management. Although the hotel belongs to a group, this property seemed completely neglected by its leadership. We reported several issues straight away, but nothing was done. The €500-per-night suite had no ventilation in the toilet, leaving a constant unpleasant smell. There were spiders and mosquitos in the room when we arrived, and no cleaning or action followed after we reported them. Poolside service was appalling: several staff members told us to open our own large umbrella and collect our food as takeaway from the restaurant, even though we were in one of the hotel's most expensive suites. At checkout, the operations manager dismissed our concern, saying, "I cannot control what my staff tell our customers." That response was truly unacceptable. The pool shower was out of order, and we were asked to park beside a large pile of junk behind the "suites," hardly a welcoming arrival. Breakfast was 500 meters away at a different hotel, which was inconvenient and poorly explained. This was deeply disappointing and showed little care for guest satisfaction or property standards. I don't recommend it, especially if you're expecting service or quality to match the premium price.

We originally booked at the Nelia Beach Hotel, but they probably had no rooms left, so they moved us to this adults-only hotel with a private pool. The sea-view rooms were exceptional, spotlessly clean, and always smelled nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. What can I say? Simply stunning! The Nelia Suite is located in the Nelia Group.

The private jacuzzi on the balcony was a real highlight, especially in the evening with a glass of wine and the sunset view. Between the comfortable loungers, crystal-clear pool, and beautiful surroundings, it was easy to forget the world around me. The staff were so polite, smiling, and always ready to help, and I felt truly special, like a golden VIP 😀. Kaliva Suites is a unique little oasis of style and relaxation. Its boho-inspired décor, natural materials, muted colors, and carefully made details create such a cosy atmosphere. My room was exclusive, spotlessly clean, and meticulously furnished.

We came back because we were happy here before, and it was just as comfortable this time. It’s peaceful and tucked away a little from the main hotel, which suited us perfectly. The beds are really comfortable, everything is clean and convenient, and there are private sun loungers. The interior seems Balinese-style to me, and there’s a smart home system. If you sleep in, you can get a free brunch at the restaurant. Just remember that check-in and breakfast are at the main hotel, not at Kaliva Suits.
