In November the area was peaceful, with mostly older guests around, so I was glad I gave it a chance despite Ayia Napa's party reputation. The hotel is in a quieter spot and was spotless, with cleaners and staff always about. I had a comfortable double room, a great walk-in shower, nice toiletries, and a little balcony looking out to sea. There were ants on the bedside tables at night, though. Since the hotel was full I couldn't change rooms, but housekeeping eventually sorted it out. If your room is above Elia restaurant, you may hear music until about midnight. There were no minibar items in the fridge. The outdoor pool is lovely, though chilly in November. Inside there's a smaller pool, two rather weak jacuzzis, and compact sauna and steam rooms. The gym is small but has enough equipment and was usually empty. Spa facilities include two pools, a sauna, and a steam room. Breakfast has a strong German and European feel, with pickled vegetables and sausages as well as the usual continental food. There’s an omelette station and good coffee machines. The fruit had no flavour, and unfortunately I got food poisoning on two mornings. A decent four-star choice and good value for a calm, low-key off-season break. It would suit solo travellers, friends, or couples.

We went to Napa Mermaid Hotel & Suites for our honeymoon from September 9th to September 20th 2025. The staff made us feel looked after as soon as we arrived, and they were consistently warm, professional, and ready to help. We made some lovely memories there and would happily return one day. The food was a highlight: breakfast and dinner both offered lots of delicious choices and fresh local flavors. Evenings had a romantic feel, which suited our honeymoon perfectly. The hotel also surprised me for my birthday with a cake, red wine, and a handwritten greeting card. Such a thoughtful touch. Our room was comfortable and had a lovely view. The hotel is modern, stylish, and spotless, with a pool area that’s beautiful for soaking up the sun. The beach is only a short walk away. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway, and it was an ideal place for our honeymoon.

I've been to this hotel a few times and it's never let me down. The pool is large and sunny, the bar makes great frozen margaritas, and there are plenty of good food options. Breakfast is really well stocked, too. The staff are nice. I'd go for a first-floor junior suite, with its own terrace, sunbeds, and sea view. The beach is just across the street, and you can walk into the center of ayia napa. 👍

It never felt huge or crowded, even with the hotel full. Christina kept our room spotless each day, and Claudia gave us great restaurant tips. We had a splendid vacation and hope to come back!

The food and service were both really good, and everyone was helpful. My brother is fussy about what he eats but loves chicken Nuggets, so we asked and they made them for him even though they weren't on the menu. I'm really glad we stayed at Napa Mermaid hotell!!
