I can’t recommend this place for families with children. My daughter is 8 years and 4 months old, and they wouldn’t let her into the kids club, even though children aged 9-10 went in right beside us. Those children told us their ages and said they play there all the time. The women said they didn’t make the rules, but nobody explained why other children were allowed in and my daughter wasn’t. We have several witnesses, so this incident should be looked into. The animators don’t speak English, yet parents are expected to trust them with young children. We couldn’t stay in the club with the younger kids either, and the children can’t use the indoor pools. The beautiful kids club may as well stay empty if children are turned away like this. After we were refused entry, we went to the lobby and were then made to leave. It felt like only very wealthy guests were given priority, while others were pushed aside when they arrived. Staff don’t speak English well, perhaps one woman did, but the others definitely didn’t, and they aren’t professionally trained either. Chamada advertises itself as child-friendly, but that wasn’t our experience at all. The beach bus only comes once an hour, which is another poor arrangement.

I tried the restaurant at Chamada Prestige with my family for the first time and was amazed by the place, the service, and the food. The fish was especially stunning, I loved it. Such a lovely experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting North Cyprus. Thank you!

We booked at the last minute and got the last room, which wasn’t a pleasant stay. The hotel was still under construction inside, and hammering woke us at 9:00 on Saturday morning. Getting from reception to our room was a very long walk. Room service had a tiny menu and the food wasn’t good. Staff spoke little English, so even basic requests were hard to explain. Breakfast also fell short of what I’d expect from other five-star hotels. For this price, there are much better options in Girne, like Merit and Kaya Plazzo.
