The rooms felt more like apartments, really spacious, modern and clean. We had a lovely side sea view and could see the water from our bed. There were plenty of sunbeds and parasols by the large pool, and the sunsets were beautiful. We also loved the coastal path and its little beaches. Meals were a real highlight. There were themed nights from Asian and Italian to traditional food, alongside fresh salads, meats, fish and vegetables every day. Breakfast had a great omelette station, lots to choose from, and even prosecco. The pool snack bar served fresh takeaway salads, chips and other snacks. The all-inclusive drinks selection was great too, with local spirits, cocktails and the all-important lemon Fanta, the hotel's own version. I have gluten and dairy intolerances and was very well looked after. The buffet items were clearly labeled for allergens, and the management team checked in, then brought a chef over to explain the dishes. They'd offer fresh alternatives if needed, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Bar staff were excellent and often said, "if you are happy, we are happy." The friendly, helpful atmosphere was there from the moment we arrived. This was our first trip to Cyprus, and we're definitely coming back next year. Thanks to everyone at Atlantica Akteon!!

The rooms were lovely and clean, and the shop was good without being too expensive. Everyone working there was friendly and nothing felt like too much trouble. Drinks were nice and strong, and I really liked the pink gin fizz. Food was pretty average for us, with the bolognese probably the nicest thing. The elvis tribute was great, and the dancers were good too. Other entertainment was okay. We stayed eight nights. Would I go back? Yes. Recommend it to a friend? Yes. Thank you ☺️

Getting around was easy enough, even though the hotel is a bit out of the way. It's about an hour's walk to the Tomb of the Kings, but there's a good bus service, and CABCY was a brilliant option too. It cost around €10 to get into central Paphos. That location suited us, as we weren't looking for the hustle and bustle. Back at the hotel, the grounds were kept impeccably clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I don't know how busy it was, but we never queued for drinks, the buffet food court never felt too crowded, and there was always plenty to eat. Sun loungers were available by the main pool, which was lovely, though a little chilly since it wasn't heated. We had a very enjoyable stay, were sorry to leave, and would consider coming back.

A heads-up on the location: it is pretty secluded, with not much around. I knew that when booking, though some other guests seemed surprised. We were only a 5-10 minute drive from things, and CABCY was cheap and reliable, about €10 each way to the harbour. DO NOT USE MIKES TAXIS! The hotel uses them, but they were shocking, failing to turn up and charging the earth when they did. I caught on the first day and downloaded CABCY, basically uber. The food was 10/10, with themed nights, loads of variety, hot dishes and tender meat. Desserts were always delicious. Drinks were great too, with excellent bar service, and waiters took our drinks order at lunch and dinner so we got a proper drink in a real glass. The room was REALLY spacious, the bed extremely comfy, the air con cracking, and the fridge was regularly stocked with big bottles of water. There were tea and coffee facilities too. We had a gorgeous sea view. Plenty of sunbeds were available in October, though I can't say what it's like in peak season. We arrived on a late flight and found sandwiches, fruit and refreshments waiting, which was a lovely touch. The spa massage was fantastic, though the pool and hot tub weren't heated. There was entertainment throughout the day and evening, but no one pushed us to join in or came over to our sunbed, which I loved. We stayed for a week and had a fab time. Food, drinks, service, rooms, bed and views were all bloody fantastic!
