Sanders Seaview Paphos

We were given a dingy basement studio, nothing like the apartments in the photos. The bathroom was dirty and falling apart, with signs of water ingress that had recently been painted over, and the kitchen was badly equipped. It was horrible and was spoiling our holiday. We contacted the owners through the booking site and then directly, but got no reply either time. We would have paid more for better accommodation, but nobody got back to us. We booked somewhere else and moved out after three nights. They don't seem to care, so be very careful.

We had a really good time: the staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was lovely, and both the rooms and pool were beautiful. We did have two annoyances. When the showers gave us trouble one night, they sent someone quickly to fix them, but we couldn't call from the room and had to go there in person. Then, after two days, we ran out of toilet paper. They said there wasn't any more and sent us to buy it at a kiosk a 15-minute walk away. We didn't have a car.

It was a pleasant stay, and the room was comfortable and a good size. I couldn't try the pool since it was March. I did have trouble turning on the electricity: sometimes I could make tea, sometimes I couldn't.

There are two pools, so they don't get crowded, though only one has a bar. There's plenty of parking right by the entrance to your apartment, and Lidl is close by, with the beach not too far away. The staff were very kind. The rooms haven't all been renovated, which you can see, but they're still a high standard. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
