The Hideaway Club Hotel

The views are beautiful, and the staff are so friendly and helpful without going overboard. It's a really relaxing place to spend a holiday, with well-equipped rooms, a great pool, and a bar and restaurant too.

The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly. I've never found the hotel busy, so it's always calm and relaxing. A lovely spot to stay overnight or spend a day by the pool.

The location and the view were the best things about this hotel. Beyond that, the staff seemed to be trying, but it wasn't enough. The first room we saw had a 20-inch TV, the sort of thing you'd expect to find in a museum these days, and so many ants that you could forget the TV and film your own Animal Planet series. Breakfast was very limited. They brought butter, jam, and bread, but cheese, eggs, and yogurt were treated as separate choices. You could ask for only one, not a few things together like at even a hostel's small buffet. I'd never seen that before. Luckily, one staff member said, "I'll do you a favor and give you cheese and eggs at the same time." I'm serious, that really happened. The pool corners were also left dirty. I touched the residue and couldn't tell what it was, and it was disgusting. Maybe the owner pays the pool cleaning company too little, but that's only a guess. There were three used plastic shower gel bottles in the shower, each with a different colored liquid. Their original labels all said shower gel, and we hadn't noticed the small card explaining which was which, so we assumed they were all shower gel. The next day they pointed out the information card on the wall. I'd never seen anything like that in a hotel or hostel before either. After all that, the price was way too high. Plenty of much nicer, more normal hotels offer all-inclusive stays for less or about the same. I run a mini market in a hotel that's much nicer in every way, and we have a deal for two people for one night, all-inclusive, at 90 euros. If I hear any guests complain, I'll send them to hideaway 😂. Whoever owns this place should have their picture next to "stingy" in the dictionary. 😀

Service was good, and the room was nice, with a good view of the town and sea. The food and drinks were good too. It is very far from the sea and town, though, about a 30-minute walk to a nice beach at merit hotel.
