Park Beach Hotel

We were very disappointed with our stay, which fell far short of what we expected. The beach right in front of the hotel was dirty and didn’t seem properly maintained. In our room, the fridge didn’t work, and reception staff showed little interest in helping with our concerns. There was also visible mold that looked as if it had been painted over with white paint to make the room seem clean. Soon after our stay began, my son developed a respiratory infection, and we strongly believe the unhealthy room environment caused it. That’s unacceptable for a hotel described as family-friendly. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, barely 8 mb/s, making it nearly impossible to work or stream even basic content. At this price, that’s unacceptable. This was a very negative experience, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to families or anyone expecting basic cleanliness and service.

The beach is just a few meters away, with cafes overlooking it and playgrounds nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the rooms were, and they were tidied every day. Breakfast had a decent range, though the quality was only average. The location is one of the best by the sea.

The rooms and the spot are the only things I really liked. You’re right by the beach and main street, and the rooms are genuinely good. But the service was poor. Our key stopped working every day, so we had to go to reception to get it fixed. Breakfast wasn’t good either: awful coffee, and the rest was just okay.

The beach bar and cafe was top notch, and the food was lovely. Staff were friendly, service was brilliant, and the location puts you right in the middle of everything, close to town. I couldn’t fault the place.
