The breakfast had a delicious range of choices, and the staff were helpful, especially Omar at Arches Restaurant. Set between the mountains and sea, this is a lovely, quirky hotel in the best way. It’s about a 40-minute walk to central Kyrenia, which also made the evenings quieter. The bed creaked, one small annoyance, but there were lots of good points: a balcony, a well-kept pool with towels and sun parasols, working air conditioning, and a bathroom fan that kept things smelling fresh.

We stayed in the main building above reception, though there are two other buildings as well. The rooms are distinctive and comfortable, and the hotel is quiet, with amazing mountain views and views down to the sea. It’s outside the city center, but only a few minutes away by taxi.

This was my second stay and I love the hotel. The staff are especially friendly, and the restaurant team are excellent. I highly recommend it. There aren’t many places where you can enjoy Cyprus quite as much.

The location is what makes this place for me. It sits between the Kyrenia mountains and the sea, and the setting is stunning. The hotel's look fits it perfectly. Inside, the staff are friendly and helpful, the beds are really comfortable, and the bathrooms are lovely. The rooms also have good air conditioning and heating when needed. Breakfast is tasty and authentic, especially with the Turkish tea. The pool is relaxing, and the bridge between the two buildings is a cool touch. The attached cafe is a little pricey, but the coffee and WiFi are good, and it’s a scenic, relaxing place to sit. It can be lively, with lots of young adults coming and going. I highly recommend it. It feels like more than a 3-star hotel.
