Rix Apartments

The price is far too high for the quality. The apartments are old and neglected, with a constant stale smell and cigarette odor. They had cleaned before we arrived, but we still had to clean everything ourselves. Things looked ready to fall apart, and there’s no elevator. The manager was bossy and told me to go to another hotel because he had enough customers. If you’re fine paying a lot for a low-quality place, this is for you.

The manager, vitaly, took ages to handle check-in, then told us to leave the pool at 8. We later saw others staying until 4am, and about two hours after we were kicked out, white people were in the pool and he did nothing. We went back the next day, but the pool was disgusting, and he told us to clean it ourselves, saying it wasn’t his concern. I found his behavior outright racist. The room AC leaked, and the toilets smelled bad when I first arrived. For what we paid, this treatment from a service worker was unacceptable. Avoid this place. There’s no elevator either, so we had to carry our things up to the top floor ourselves. I have videos of the leaking AC and people swimming at 10:30 after we’d just been told to leave.

A terrible stay. The apartment was bad, and the customer service was poor. People were treated differently because of their skin color.

Rix is in a quiet neighborhood, fairly close to the city center, shops, and other things you might need. Staying guests can use the neighborhood pool, and there’s a quiet restaurant just minutes from the apartment. You can also have food delivered right to your door. For the price, the accommodation was great. The staff were welcoming and ready to help with any problems. We had a really good stay and hope to come back someday 🙏👏.
