I wouldn’t recommend it. We were two adults and an eleven year old, all sharing one room with a double bed, bunk bed, kitchen, and living area. The bathroom flooded, and the water took hours to heat up. When it finally did, there was only enough hot water for one person. The staff said they were too busy to make us coffee in the afternoon. There’s no parking near the inn, so we were glad to have backpacks for our one-night stay, though the walk over cobbled streets was a bit of a trek.

The people working here were very nice, but the rooms are in poor condition. There was no hot water in the shower, and the bed was old and uncomfortable. Given all that, I’d say it was overpriced.

On Friday, October 24th, 2025, we had dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed both the food and the service. The owner and his young son had a lovely conversation with us in English. We’re from Sweden and travelling around Cyprus, Julia and Eskil Pihl.

I booked through the website and called twice to confirm. The woman who answered said she’d call me back once she reached reception, but she never did. When I tried a third and fourth time, nobody picked up. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. I won’t be back.

The old part of Kakopetria is a great setting for a meal. We ate really well, and the staff were friendly and the service excellent. I’d definitely recommend it.
