Garden Kamara House

Jacob and Elli were incredibly kind and treated us like family. Their Bee Museum is a fascinating look at history and Elli’s family story, and you can reach it from the guesthouse garden. It has two entrances and opens after 11 a.m. The guesthouse is in a great spot for our Christmas vacation, right in the heart of Cyprus, with surrounding villages and cities 5-40 minutes away. A five-star guesthouse in an excellent location, especially for nature lovers or families with kids.

Mrs Elli and her daughter Theodora made us feel so welcome at Garden Kamara House, right in the heart of beautiful Kato Drys village. Mrs Elli also showed us around the museum she owns and told us interesting things about her family and culture. It’s a charming, romantic hotel, and we’d happily stay here again. A big thank you for an unforgettable stay! 😌

The garden was the highlight for us, with a sitting area, wood-fire oven, and lemon and orange trees in the orchard. Cats kept us company whenever we sat outside. Theodora looked after us, and her parents lived at the other end of the orchard. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We stayed for 10 days and would have extended, but the house was booked. Garden Kamara is a traditional stone house in the tiny, very cute village of Kato Drys, just 10 minutes from Lefkara. It has a big garden, two large comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a functional traditional kitchen. I’d definitely come back.

The house was warm and had excellent heating, including a fireplace. I felt at home because the owners were so accommodating. Waking up to the quiet courtyard and cats hanging around when I fed them was lovely.
