The beach has lovely sand and water, nice sun beds and decent umbrellas. The staff were nice, and it felt like good value. But some people come onto the beach, use the sun beds without paying like the other tourists, and play their music loudly. That makes the atmosphere feel unwelcoming, and it's definitely not a good place to rest or enjoy a good vibe.
A very beautiful and peaceful beach, good for relaxing and swimming. I walked from Ledra and got here in an hour. It's also close enough to walk to the bus station.
The seafront promenade makes for a pleasant walk with a nice view, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants along Finikoudes Beach. It's an open, tourist-friendly area where you can stop for a coffee or meal and take a break by the sea. I came mainly for a walk, though, and the water isn't especially beautiful compared with other places in Cyprus. If you're expecting crystal-clear water or vivid colors, it may feel underwhelming. I'd see this more as a place to enjoy a coffee or meal by the sea than somewhere to visit specifically for swimming.
It's not the prettiest beach, but it's nice to have one in the city. For swimming, I'd drive to another beach closer to Protaras.
