Really unpleasant experience, and it cost me time and good energy on my holiday. I called the “24/7” front desk at 7 AM to ask if I could leave my bag before the 17:00 check-in. An angry man shouted that I’d woken him and hung up. When I arrived at 8:15 and rang the bell, the Russian man came out in an intimidating way, shouted again, refused to let me in, told me to cancel, and slammed the door in my face. I stayed polite and respectful throughout. Booking.com later found that he had also faked a booking change and moved my dates two months later. The street felt shady too. Stay away from this hostel.

Luckily, I found somewhere else to stay. The owner there said I wasn’t the first person to have this kind of problem with jedi hub hostel. On the day of my reservation, I couldn’t find the entrance, so I called the number listed on booking.com. The person answered in Russian, though it turned out he understood English too. He said my reservation had been canceled because I hadn’t paid, and that it wasn’t their problem, even though payment was only possible on the spot. Then he hung up. When I messaged him on WA saying I’d describe what happened and that it was absurd to leave me uninformed until then, he laughed at me. I strongly advise against this place.

Avoid this place. There’s no sign showing the entrance, and booking.com gave no directions. There’s no parking either. At 9pm, one guy said I could cancel for free and find another hostel. The staff, if that’s what you call them, demanded cash on the spot for the bed plus a 25 euro cash deposit. There was no information saying payment had to be in cash. Another guy said he spoke English and told me I should check the website’s Terms and Conditions 🧐 Both men were Russian. I think the good reviews may be from their friends, since there’s a small Russian community. Maybe look for somewhere a bit outside Limassol.

The staff were brilliant. After checkout they went out of their way to store our bags and let us hang around until our late flight. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the place was spotless. The wifi was fast and stable too. I’ve travelled for years and this is probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Loved the graffiti and interior.

I’d never stayed in a hostel like this, so I wanted to give it a try. I had the central capsule on the second floor, and it was huge, with a soft mattress, shelf, sockets, and a light. I worried it might get hot inside, but it stayed fresh even with the shutter closed. There’s a big, comfortable kitchen and an amazing view from the roof. The sea is a 10-minute walk away.
